About the author

Maggie Richards

Maggie Richards fell in love with meditation in 2007 aged 30 and today teaches people from all walks of life to calm their mind and relax into inner peace. You’ll find her in some of London’s top health studios – as well as abroad – sharing her practical, lighthearted knowledge of happiness and calm. She is author of the 7 Steps of Calm, former contributing wellbeing editor of mydaily.co.uk, and founder of both Mindfulness for Mums – London’s first meditation-based workshops for new mums and expectant mothers, and Smiley Minds – mindfulness-based classes for 3- to 7-year-olds. Her meditations have been written about in Time, New York Times, Tatler and more. And her first meditation album will be published this summer in 2015. Maggie’s collaborated with several leading lifestyle brands, including Rituals, Bioré®, and PLENISH, and taught mind-calming skills to the editors of Britain’s biggest glossies, including Elle and Marie Claire. She is available for brand collaborations, corporate workshops, and private meditation sessions in person or online.
